Welcome to our self-sufficient farm nestled on the edge of the lush Atlantic jungle in Costa Rica. Our journey began with a dream to live as an integral part of nature and promote sustainable living. Today, we are eager to share our lifestyle, experiences, and knowledge with the world. Our farm serves as a real-world laboratory for resource-efficient living.
Our farm is more than just a place; it’s a living example of how sustainable practices can create a thriving, balanced ecosystem. Although we are still on the path to complete self-sufficiency, we are dedicated to growing our own food and practicing permaculture to nurture the land we call home. Every day is an adventure as we discover new ways to reduce our footprint and enhance biodiversity.
We believe that we are not separate from nature but an integral part of it. This philosophy guides our efforts in wildlife conservation, as we strive to protect the incredible flora and fauna that surrounds us. From vibrant toucans to playful capuchin monkeys, our farm is a sanctuary for many species, and we work to create a safe and nurturing environment for all.
We are actively seeking volunteers who share our vision and want to join us on this journey, whether for a short time or as a long-term commitment. We welcome climate justice activists who are ready to settle with us and help save the world :). Additionally, we offer a few spots for tourists who are open to experiencing our vegan and drug-free lifestyle, and who understand that we prioritize a car-free environment here on the farm.
Moreover, we are proud to support our second project, the rainforest protection association Huelal Totga.
We also offer an exclusive spot for someone looking to overcome drug or addiction issues. As long-term clean addicts with extensive experience in self-help groups, we see ourselves as specialists in this area and are committed to providing support and a fresh start.
