In this video we share an impressive encounter with a young Green Iguana (Iguana iguana) that lives in our garden. This fascinating reptile, about 1.20 meters long, allowed us to get very close to it while it was sitting on a large leaf, similar to a banana leaf. The intense green colors of the iguana and its background make this video a visual treat. We have put together a mixture of photos and short video sequences from different perspectives to show this beautiful creature in all its glory.
Yesterday, 13th June 24, we had this snake close to our house. I had just come down the stairs and was looking into the garden when I saw the snake about 2 meters in front of me and was startled, just like her. It then slithered away very quickly, and I was surprised at how fast snakes can be. We then got our cameras and found it lying in the grass about 10 meters away. After a while, it moved away slowly and then again at greater speed.
