đź“… Work and Break Schedule

Our regular rhythm is 4 days of 5 hours each (Monday to Thursday) and 1 day of 3 hours (Friday) – that makes a total of 23 hours per week. This gives us enough time to move projects forward while leaving space for rest, community, and personal initiatives.

Monday – Thursday

  • 07:30 – Start of work
  • 08:45 – Short break (part of working time)
  • 08:50 – 2nd block
  • 10:00 – Long break (not part of working time)
  • 10:20 – 3rd block
  • 11:35 – Short break (part of working time)
  • 11:40 – 4th block
  • 12:50 – End of work

Friday

  • 07:30 – Start of work
  • 09:00 – Break
  • 09:15 – 2nd and last block
  • 10:45 – End of work

Notes

  • ⏰ Punctuality: Being on time is a form of respect for the group – we all start together.
  • đź’§ Breaks: Of course, bathroom breaks or quick moments to catch your breath are always respected – especially in hot or demanding outdoor work. Short interruptions are fine at any time. What doesn’t work is stretching breaks or adding extra ones, because that slows down the whole team’s flow.
  • 🤝 Flexibility: If you have special needs (health, energy, circumstances), please talk to us. We can always make individual adjustments together.
  • 🌱 Sobriety: We work alcohol- and drug-free. This also means free from psychoactive medication such as neuroleptics or other psychopharmaceuticals. From experience, we know that such substances can endanger both the person taking them and the group in a communal, rural work setting. If you are unsure, please talk to us before starting your stay.
