Note: Items are added in the WordPress Admin under Tools → Infra Inventory. Front-end overview pages show lists only and do not include the add form.
Responsibilities
- Enter all new items into the Finca Yuyo inventory system.
- Select the correct location path (Project → Quarter → Sixteenth → Zone → Subzone).
- Ensure data is complete and accurate.
- Update immediately after placing items into storage.
Step-by-Step
- Log in to WordPress as an Administrator (or authorized role with access).
- Go to Tools → Infra Inventory.
- In the Add new item section, select the location using the cascading dropdowns:
- Project → Quarter → Sixteenth → Zone → Subzone (optional)
- Only valid combinations are shown (based on the location hierarchy).
- The page keeps the form in view and remembers your last location for the next item.
- Fill in the fields:
- Item name — clear and descriptive (e.g., “Rice 5 kg bag”).
- Brand — if available (e.g., “Diana”).
- Model — optional, for equipment.
- Internal code — leave empty to auto-generate (id + 1000), or enter your own (letters, numbers, spaces allowed, e.g.,
53 a). - Quantity — exact count or units.
- Location details — optional note (e.g., “top shelf, left side”).
- Notes — expiry date, fragile, borrowed, etc.
- Review your entries and click Add item.
- A green confirmation appears. The list above updates, and your location selection stays prefilled for adding the next item.

- Item name: Rice
- Brand: Diana
- Quantity: 2
- Location details: Plastic box, middle shelf
- Notes: New delivery, expires May 2026
Rules & Tips
- Always add items under the correct Zone/Subzone.
- Use plural only if multiple items (e.g., “Mug” vs. “Mugs (12 pcs)”).
- Add immediately — delays cause losses or duplicates.
- For equipment, always include brand + model.
- If unsure about classification, ask the Inventory Coordinator.
- Internal code policy:
- Blank → auto id + 1000 after save.
- Manual codes (e.g.,
53 a,A-12) are accepted as entered.
