Harvest highlights
We currently harvest around 60 different plant species. Some highlights you can see (and taste)

- 🌿 Bilimbi – sour & refreshing
- 🟠 Turmeric – spice & medicinal root
- 🍌 Bananas – 6 varieties; intro to sword vs water suckers
- 🥥 Coconuts & pipas – one plant, very different uses
- 🍈 Noni – medicinal “cheese fruit”
- 🌶️ Aztec pepper – our playful “future toilet paper”
- 🌱 Yuca & malanga – local root staples
- 🌿 Katuk & chicasquil – nutritious perennial greens
- 🍍 Pineapples – pesticide-free (rare in CR)

Soils & qualities
The Finca is a patchwork of soil qualities – from sandy patches to rich volcanic layers. We adapt planting and harvesting to each micro-zone.

This activity runs on a donation basis. Suggested minimum contribution: $10–15 per person.
