4 – Spanish for Beginners

How it works
We follow the Lingolia course structure, which offers clear grammar explanations, interactive exercises, and vocabulary by level — perfect for building your Spanish step by step. You will be able to understand simple conversations and communicate with others.
*We also highlight Costa Rican expressions and address inclusive / progressive gender usage.
What you’ll learn
- Grammar:
-Present tense: regular verbs (-ar, -er, -ir), the first irregular verbs (ser, estar, ir), simple reflexive verbs.
-Sentence structure: affirmative sentences, negation with no, simple questions (qué, quién …).
-Articles & nouns: definite/indefinite articles, gender (m/f), plural forms.
-Subject pronouns (yo, tú,…) and possessive adjectives (mi, tu, …).
-Adjective Agreement Basics
-Basic periphrasis: ir a + infinitive (“near future”).
- Vocabulary:
– Numbers, dates and time.
– Everyday topics: home/apartment, clothing, food/shopping, body parts, city, travel, simple holidays.
