🚨 Care Plan – Immediate Actions
Keep the plant in a shaded, sheltered location to minimise water loss while roots establish. Maintain evenly moist soil without waterlogging. Inspect daily for signs of wilting or new growth. No fertiliser for the first 3–4 weeks to avoid stressing the young roots.
🔄🧑🌾 Care Plan – Regular Tasks
After the first 3–4 weeks, begin gradual acclimatisation to morning sun, increasing exposure over a period of 2–3 weeks until the plant can tolerate full outdoor light. Continue regular watering and monitor for healthy new shoots. Start light feeding only once strong new growth is visible.
🗒️ Notes
Father plant was air-layered 3 or 4 times by our Volonteer Evan a couple of month ago. This was the only twig which developed at least some root but it took a long time.
