Patacones or roasted plantains

  • Select ripe bananas,
  • peel,
  • cut to 1cm thick,
  • place on grill with baking paper,
  • add lemon
  • and cinnamon.
  • To turn on the oven,
  • set the temperature to 50 degrees,
  • set the time to 5hs and readjust according to the desired doneness if necessary.
  • The banana peel is cut into pieces and stored in a bowl to be used as compost directly on the plants after 3 days. It should not be placed in the compost.
