Preperation to chop field
- Clear the field of branches lying on the ground that are thicker than approx. 4 cm at the thickest point and take this to the fire pit for untreated wood
- Clear the field of woody pipas and take them to the fire pit for untreated wood and chop them in half with the machete so that the liquid is out.
- The thick, woody part of the palm fronds is chopped off and also taken to the fire pit for untreated wood, the rest is chopped up and left directly on the land so that it does not interfere with chopping with the brush cutter.
- Smaller branches and greenery may be chopped up with a machete and left on the land so that it does not interfere with chopping with the brush cutter
