🌿 What to bring for your stay at Finca Yuyo

Life here is simple and close to nature — the climate is tropical (hot, humid, and often rainy), so good preparation makes everything easier.

Essential items

• 👕 Comfortable work clothes that can get dirty (light fabrics for heat, quick-drying if possible)
• 👖 Long pants for working in the garden or forest
• 🥾 Rubber boots or sturdy shoes that can get muddy —
  (you can also buy rubber boots in the local ferretería if you prefer)
• 🧢 Hat or cap for sun protection
• 🧴 Natural mosquito repellent and sunscreen
• 💡 Rechargeable headlamp — very helpful when walking at night or during power cuts
• 🧻 Your own towel and basic toiletries (eco-friendly if possible)
• 💧 Reusable water bottle
• 🎒 Small backpack or waist bag for daily use

Optional but useful

• 🧤 Work gloves
• 🪣 Light rain jacket or poncho
• 📔 Notebook or journal
• 🎸 Instrument, art supplies, or any creative tools you enjoy sharing

We provide bedding and basic kitchen supplies.
Electricity and Wi-Fi are available, but there can be occasional outages — welcome to the jungle 🌴
