Water-overview
Our rainwater system provides water for showers, laundry, cooking, brushing teeth, and toilet flushing. It is fed entirely from the roofs. When we first arrived, the total storage capacity was 10,300 liters; today it is {{current_capacity}} (sum of all tanks).
The displayed values liters per person are directly comparable over time, since they reflect the actual per-capita consumption. What has changed is the supply security: at the beginning, about 40 % of the roofs were connected, whereas today it is around 80 %. This means more rainwater flows into the tanks now, and the risk of running dry is much lower.
